Pastor Evita L. Smith,
M. Div, MSOL

Pastor, Preacher, Teacher, Writer, Life Coach, and Businesswoman are just a few of the hats worn by Pastor Evita L. Smith.  Those who know her best attest that she is dedicated to serving others, determined to live out the calling on her life and driven to share the truth of God to the reality of life.  Her mission in life and in ministry is three fold; to see souls saved, lives transformed and the people of God walking in their purpose.  Whether in the office, the community, or the sanctuary Pastor Smith works with great determination to help people discover their identity, enhance their gifts, and fulfill the purpose God has
for their lives.

In 2010, stepping out in faith with a vision from God, Pastor Smith founded Kingdom Seekers Community Church in Atlanta, GA where she serves as Senior Pastor. With a prolific and prophetic voice, Pastor Smith’s passion for God and God’s word is evident in her preaching ministry.  Whether for five or five thousand, she stands humbly under the boldness of Gods anointing to share the word of God across denominations, cultures, and traditions.  As one who operates in the apostolic office, Pastor Smith is called to establish order and develop other leaders within and for the Kingdom of God.

As one who believes we as God’s people are given dominion over every area of life, Pastor Smith also is an influence in the marketplace.  Her corporate career spans approximately 15 years through corporate accounting and finance.  Fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit, she seeks to represent God in the business world.  She is the President and CEO of Next Chapter Coaching Inc., a life and leadership coaching practice dedicated to helping people live in 3D: dreaming, developing and deploying the next chapter of their lives.

Pastor Smith is also ardent advocate of education.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from DeVry University; a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University; a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Brenau University; and a certification in Life and Leadership Coaching from Dream Releasers Coaching under the tutelage of doctors  Samuel and Brenda Chand.

Pastor Smith presently sits on the advisory board for the Baptist Studies Department at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology.

Regardless of the accomplishments and accolades received, Pastor Smith is fueled daily by the graduation prayer of Candler School of Theology professor Bishop Woodie White:  “May the places you’ve been be better because you were there”.
